Happy Birthday Annie

Annie turned 2 on December 15th. She had such a great day. It was a lot of fun for all of us. When she woke up in the morning, all of her presents were lined up on the fireplace. Although she wasn't allowed to open them until later in the day, having them where she could see really added to her excitement!
We started the day with juice, bacon, oranges, and german pancakes (some of her favorite foods). She got to open 1 present after breakfast ( new winter crocs--they have a warm lining in them to be used in winter. She loves them because she can put them on without help from Mom.). We then went to Chic-File and played on the playplace for about 2 hours (not joking!). We ate there for lunch also. Ken came home from work a little early and we headed to the Bloomingdale Mall, where we enjoyed the carousel, train ride around the mall, free ice cream, and Santa (who I thought was very questionable. He had a smoker cough/laugh, and the sight of him made Annie cry!). All in all, it was a fun afternoon.

We headed home for dinner and cake. Annie's cake (above) were cupcake ice cream cones, with "Tangled" plates--her favorite movie.

Annie had AJ and Chris (above) and Trevor Heiner join us for cake and ice cream. They are three of her favorite people!

On of Annie's favorite gifts was the doll Grandma Katschke sent her. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
